US multi-unit residential construction activity jumps on-month
US new construction data for June revealed a month-on-month increase in housing starts, housing completions and building permits for multiple unit dwellings, Kallanish learns from the Census Bureau.
The rate of housing starts for buildings with five or more units was 360,000 in June, up 22% on-month but down 23.4% year-on-year.
