US multi-unit residential construction activity grows on-month
US new construction data for June reveal a month-on-month gain in housing starts, housing completions and building permits for multiple unit dwellings, Kallanish learns from the Census Bureau.
The rate of housing starts for buildings with five or more units was 360,000 in June, up 22% from an upwardly revised May reading, but down 23.4% year-on-year.
