US mills raise stainless prices
US stainless mills have lifted base prices by approximately $40/short ton, Kallanish learns from company announcements.
North American Stainless (NAS) and AK Steel have officially lifted base prices by reducing the functional discount by two percentage points, which NAS characterises as an increase of 5-7%.
