US mill shipments slide in February
US mill shipments slipped from January to February but stayed up year on year, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US steel shipments in February totaled 7.232 million short tons, down -6.2% from January’s total but up 2.4% from February 2016.
Year-to-date shipments through February totaled 14.94m st, up 6% from last year.
