US mill shipments shrink in June
US steel mill shipments fell in June, both on month and on year, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US mills shipped 7.72 million short tons in June, down -5.2% from May and -3.4% from June 2018.
On month, hot-rolled sheet shipments fell by -6%; cold-rolled sheet shipments fell by -5%; and hot-dipped galvanized sheet shipments fell by -2%.
