US mill shipments rise in October
US steel mill shipments climbed slightly in October, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US steel mill shipments rose 0.9% from September to 6.833 million short tons. That figure is -7.3% below the October 2015 figure.
While hot-dipped galvanized shipments remained flat from September to October, cold-rolled coil shipments fell -2% and hot-rolled coil shipments fell -4%.
