US mill shipments rise again in August
US steel mill shipments rose from July to August, and remained up from August 2016, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
August shipments totalled 7.929 million short tons, up by 6% on the 7.480m st shipped in July and a 5.1% increase on the 7.543m st shipped in August 2015.
