US mill shipments fall in November
US steel mill shipments slipped -3.8% from October to November, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
Shipments totaled 7.419 million short tons – down -3.8% on month, but up 10.3% from November 2016.
Cold-rolled sheet shipments increased 1% from October to November, but that was offset by a -3% dip in hot-rolled sheet and a -4% dip in hot-dipped galvanized sheet.
