US mill shipments fall in November
US steel mill shipments slipped from October to November but remain up year on year, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
November US mill shipments stood at 6.724 million short tons, down -1.6% from October but up 4.1% from November 2015. Hot-rolled sheet shipments rose 5% from October to November, while shipments of both hot-dipped galvanized and cold-rolled sheet fell -6%.
