US mill shipments decline in November
Shipments from US steel mills dropped from October to November 2021 but remain higher on-year, the American Iron and Steel Institute reports.
AISI says just under 7.9 million short tons of steel products were shipped from US mills in November. This was a 4% drop from the month before but an increase of 17% from November 2020.
