US manufacturing shifts rebound during June
Monthly shift volume rose for the US manufacturing industry in June following a period of decline in the prior months, Kallanish learns from data collected by Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) for its monthly workforce activity report.
According to the report, US manufacturing shifts worked increased by 1.9% in June following declines in the two prior months. Manufacturing shift volume fell by 1.7% in May and by 1.2% in April.
