US manufacturing shifts continue to decline in April
The US manufacturing industry saw monthly shift volume continue to decline from March to April, Kallanish learns from data collected by Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) for its workforce activity report.
According to the report, US manufacturing shifts worked decreased by 1.2% in April following a 1.6% decline in the prior month. However, the overall average US monthly shift volume increased by 0.5% in April following a 1.2% decline in March.
