US manufacturing shifts continue decline in May
Monthly shift volume continues to decline for the US manufacturing industry in May, Kallanish learns from data collected by Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) for its workforce activity report.
According to the report, US manufacturing shifts worked decreased by 1.7% in May following a 1.2% decline in the prior month. However, the overall average US monthly shift volume fell by 0.7% in May following a 0.5% growth in overall shift volume during April.
