US manufacturing shift growth tumbles in April
Monthly shift volume growth in the US manufacturing industry fell sharply in April after little movement in the prior month, Kallanish learns from data gathered by Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) for its monthly workforce activity report.
According to the report, the volume of manufacturing shifts worked in the US decreased by 10.8% during April. Before this latest downturn, monthly shift volume growth fell by just 0.3% in the prior month.
