US manufacturing industry retracts in December
Monthly shift volume growth in the US manufacturing industry continued to retract during December, Kallanish learns from data gathered by Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) for its monthly workforce activity report.
According to the report, the monthly volume of manufacturing shifts worked in the US fell by 3.6% in December. Shift volume growth retracted across all major industries in the US during the month.
