US long steel imports, exports fall in June

Long carbon steel export volumes shipped from the US declined in June for a third consecutive month, whilst imports into the country fell to their lowest level in nine months, Kallanish learns from the latest data published by the Department of Commerce. According to Commerce's steel monitor, long carbon steel exports decreased by 0.1% month-on-month in June to a total of 142,411 tonnes.
