US line pipe pricing heads down in July

US line pipe pricing continued to decline in July, according to analyst Pipe Logix.  Average line pipe pricing fell -0.9% to $1,355/short ton during the month, with domestic prices falling -0.7% to $1,502/st and import prices falling -1.2% to $1,208/st.  The only bright spot in the market appears to be large-diameter domestic seamless product, Kallanish understands.
