US likely to pursue tube trade case

The US Department of Commerce will make a decision by 10 May whether to pursue a trade case on cold-drawn mechanical tube imports from six countries, Kallanish reports. Domestic petitioners ArcelorMittal Tubular Products, Michigan Seamless Tube, PTC Alliance, Webco and Zekelman Industries have asked for an anti-dumping investigation on tubes from China, Germany, Italy, India, Korea and Switzerland.
