US intake boosts Turkey's March CR flats exports
Turkish cold rolled flat steel exports surged 170.8% year-on-year to 39,198 tonnes in March thanks to a jump in shipments to the USA and increased supply to Europe. The total average value of these exports plunged to $687/tonne from $1,439/t a year earlier, Kallanish calculates from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
