US to impose duties on Taiwanese rebar
The US International Trade Commission has found evidence of injury to the domestic industry as a result of rebar imports from Taiwan, clearing the way for anti-dumping duties to be imposed, Kallanish reports.
The duties will range from 3.5-32.01%, based on the US Department of Commerce’s final investigation. The department estimates that the US imported $53 million in Taiwanese rebar in 2016.
