US imports rise in March
US imports appear to have risen by double-digit figures from February to March, according to the American Iron and Steel Institute.
Citing data from the US Census Bureau, the institute reports March total imports to be 3.396 million short tons and finished imports to be 2.517m st. Those figures are up 24.8% and 21%, respectively, from February’s final tally.
