US imports rise by double-digits in April
Overall US imports increased significantly in April, according to the American Iron and Steel Institute.
Citing Census Bureau data, the institute puts total US imports in April at 3.738 million short tons, 2.86m st of which was finished. That is up 12.15% and 15.1%, respectively, from March’s final tallies.
