US total steel imports increase in November
US total steel imports ticked up in November, though finished steel imports dropped, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI).
Citing preliminary data from the US Census Bureau, the AISI puts total November steel imports at 2.804 million short tons and finished steel imports at 2.132m st – up 3.3% and down -5.5%, respectively, from October.
