US imports fall in February
US imports appear to have fallen both on-month and on-year in February, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US steel import licenses reached a total of 1.505 million short tons in February, 1.344m st of which were finished. That is down -52% and -18.4%, respectively, from January’s final tally, the institute gleans from US Census Bureau data.
