US imports drop in September
US imports of steel appear to have slipped from August to September, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
The US imported a total of 2.25 million short tons, 1.85m st of which was finished, in September. Those figures are down -25.9% and -8.6%, respectively, from August.
