US imports decline in November
Fewer imports came into the US in November than in October, according to the latest data sent to Kallanish from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
Total import license applications for the month of November were 2.678 million short tons - a 2.2% decline from October’s final import count of 2.74m st. Finished steel licenses of 2.304m st in November were also down 2.2% from October.
