US HRC prices rise while CRC holds steady
US pricing for hot rolled coil has climbed to a new range of $880-910/short ton from last week’s level of $870-900/st, and cold rolled coil prices held flat at $1,050-1,150/st, Kallanish reports.
A mill source confirms healthy order books into the first quarter of 2024.
“Lead times into January [for HRC] and, downstream, we are deep into January and into February on other products,” the mill source says.
