US flats exports show mixed results in September
As overall US exports fell back 4% from August to September, exports of flat steel products posted mixed results, Kallanish observes in the latest data released by the US Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration.
Hot-dipped galvanized sheet and strip exports rose less than 1% month-on-month to 96,132 tonnes in September. Shipments to Mexico and Canada reached 50,860t and 44,252t, respectively.
