US drives Turkey's June CR flats export surge
Turkish cold rolled flat steel exports soared 80.7% year-on-year to 35,491 tonnes in June, thanks to a jump in imports from the US. The total average value/tonne of these exports plunged to $742/tonne from $1,457/t a year earlier, Kallanish calculates from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
