US releases $3.3 billion for community-restoring bridges, infrastructure
The US Department of Transportation (DOT) is releasing another tranche of infrastructure funds, in this case to reconnect communities where prior highway and railroad construction created barriers, Kallanish discovers from a press release.
The DOT announced $3.3 billion in grant awards for 132 communities across 42 states as part of President Joe Biden’s Investing in America agenda. The projects include several bridges and rail transit accommodations.
