US domestic scrap prices rebound, as expected
US domestic scrap prices are observed to have recovered in November trading after sinking to 2019-low levels as a result of a prolonged price downtrend.
While the HMS I price increased by $20/tonne on the US East Coast as a result of strong export sales, Midwest price increases have been mostly at $10-20/t, depending on the city, as anticipated.
