US domestic rebar pricing may strengthen: sources
After remaining flat for all of 2024 so far, pricing for US domestic rebar may rise in the coming weeks because of a pause in import arrivals, Kallanish hears from market participants.
The price range for US domestic #4 rebar in 20-foot sticks is unchanged for the fifth consecutive week at $855-875/short ton. Sources say the mills are gaining a position of strength and can win an increase on the #4 variety, in particular.
