Chinese steel transshipped via Thailand: US evasion probe
US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has determined that it is reasonable to suspect that China evaded countervailing duties and antidumping duties on OCTG goods that it sent through Thailand, Kallanish learns.
The Department of Commerce determined the antidumping rate to be 99.14% and the countervailing duty rate to be 27.08%. It will enforce the rates as an interim measure.
