US court rules in favour of 232 tariffs
A federal court has ruled in favour of the Trump administration’s signature 232 steel and aluminium tariffs following a challenge from American Institute for International Steel, Kallanish reports.
The 25% steel tariffs were originally instituted in March 2018, ostensibly to protect national security interests tied to the availability of domestic steel.
