US construction jobs increase in most metro areas
Construction employment increased in 218 of 358 US metropolitan areas in the 12-month period ended April 2024, Kallanish learns from Associated General Contractors of America (AGC).
AGC indicates that construction employment is growing in fewer metro areas compared with earlier this year, but demand remains strong enough in much of the country that many contractors continue to struggle to find enough workers.
