US construction industry grows in July
The US construction industry appears to have grown in July, Kallanish learns from key economic indicators including job openings and new hires.
According to a newly released job opening and labour turnover report by the US Bureau of Labour Statistics, the number of job openings in the construction industry increased by 90,000 jobs to 334,000 jobs. However, the number of monthly new construction hires decreased by 99,000 jobs to 400,000 jobs in July.
