US construction confidence slips, backlog flat in July
Confidence in the US construction sector declined in July, whilst the construction backlog was unchanged month-on-month, Kallanish learns from the latest data compiled by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
ABC’s Construction Confidence Index for July declined across all three tracked components of sales, profit margins and staffing. All three readings remain above the threshold of 50, indicating expectations for growth over the next six months.
