US architectural billings improve on-month, headwinds remain
US architectural billings ticked higher month-on-month in June, but elevated interest rates, higher construction costs and softer property values provide headwinds, Kallanish learns from the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Billings for architectural firms in the US for June registered a score of 46.4 points on the AIA/Deltek Architecture Billings Index (ABI), up from the May reading of 42.4. Above the 50-point threshold is indicative of growth.
