Unite lambasts lack of UK local content requirement
The UK government must develop specific targets on UK steel usage in publicly funded construction projects, says the Unite union. This comes after a recent series of parliamentary questions tabled by Labour MP Mick Whitley revealed the government has not set targets for local steel content in the HS2 rail project.
