Union members to strike at Tree Island Steel
Canada-based steel wire producer Tree Island Steel has received a strike notice by employee members of Teamsters Local Union No. 213 in relation to the company's operations at its facility in Richmond, British Columbia, Kallanish reports.
"We are disappointed that the union has elected to serve us with a strike notice," comments Remy Stachowiak, president of Tree Island Steel.
