Union members at Teck Elkview prep for negotiations
The United Steelworkers is preparing to negotiate a new contract for its workers at Teck Resources’ Elkview coal mine in British Columbia, Kallanish reports.
Local 9346, which represents the Elkview workers, will take point during the bargaining process. The union has asked for negotiation to begin in October.
