Ulanhot Steel to upgrade blast furnace
Ulanhot Steel in northern China's Inner Mongolia plans to eliminate outdated capacity and upgrade its blast furnace, following local government requirements.
The steelmaker will build one 1,200 cubic-metre blast furnace with 1.13 million tonnes/year of iron capacity, Kallanish notes.
