Ukrainian suppliers near EU quota exhaustion
Ukrainian steel companies have almost exhausted their current round of EU supply quotas for some products, according to data from national metals association Ukrmetallurgprom. The quotas are valid from 1 April to 30 June 2021.
As of 1 June, Ukraine had exhausted 84.17% of its quota for seamless stainless steel pipes, supplying 2,750 tonnes versus the available 3,270t, Kallanish notes.
