Ukrainian steel production decreases further amid hostilities
Ukrainian steel companies reduced production in January-June due to the Russian invasion of the country, according to national steel association Ukrmetallurgprom.
Crude steel output amounted to 4.54 million tonnes, down by 41.8% on-year, Kallanish notes. Output of pig iron decreased by 42.1% to 4.54mt and rolled products were down 41.6% to 4mt.
