Ukrainian semis exports increase, pig iron falls
Ukrainian exports of semi-finished products increased in January, according to customs data monitored by Kallanish.
The country exported 674,900 tonnes of semi-finished steel, up by 6.9% year-on-year. Revenue generated by these shipments increased by 20.8% to $280.6 million. The main consumers of Ukrainian semis were Turkey with a 28.5% share in exports, Italy with 15.7% and Indonesia with 7.8%.
