Ukrainian semi exports increase, pig iron falls
Ukrainian exports of semi-finished products increased in April, according to customs data monitored by Kallanish.
The country exported 558,000 tonnes of semi-finished steel, up by 9.4% year-on-year. Revenue generated by these shipments increased 68.1% to $315.4 million. In January-April Ukraine exported 2.58 million tonnes of semis, more 0.5% on-year and revenue increased by 34.3% to $1.3 billion.
