Ukrainian semis, iron exports drop, iron ore grows
Ukrainian exports of semi-finished products decreased in May, according to customs data monitored by Kallanish.
The country exported 522,500 tonnes of semi-finished steel, down by 7.9% on-year. Revenue generated by these shipments increased 66.2% to $301.7 million. In January-May Ukraine exported 3.06 million tonnes of semis, less by 0.9% on-year, but revenue increased by 39.4% to $1.6 billion.
