Ukrainian iron ore, pig iron exports rise
Ukrainian mining and steel companies increased the export of iron ore in April, show national customs data.
It amounted to 4.2 million tonnes, up by 31.5% on-year, Kallanish notes. In January-April Ukrainian steel enterprises exported 15.4mt of iron ore, up by 21.6% on-year.
The main consumer of Ukrainian iron ore remained China, with its exports share amounting to 56.42%. This was followed by Poland with 10.84% and Austria with 6.48%.
