Ukrainian flat steel may return to MENA
Having forsaken Asian and Middle East and North Africa export markets in favour of the EU and Turkey this year, Ukrainian steelmakers could redirect part of their flat steel exports back to MENA in 2022. So said Andrii Tarasenko, head of research at GMK Centre, at Tuesday’s Kallanish Flat Steel 2021 conference.
