Ukraine’s steel, pig iron production rebounds in July

Ukrainian steel companies increased production in July despite the Russia-Ukraine war, unfavourable global market conditions and logistical problems, according to national steel association Ukrmetallurgprom. Last month’s crude steel output amounted to 601,000 tonnes, up by 82.5% on-year and 37.5% compared to June, Kallanish notes.
